SportStar RTC with Garmin G3X Touch Glass Cockpit gains approval
EASA certified training aircraft SportStar RTC is now available with a popular Garmin G3X Touch Glass Cockpit. Garmin G3X Touch represents the latest innovations in digital integrated avionic systems for light sport airplanes. G3X Touch is built with a native infrared touchscreen interface that is seamlessly blended with buttons and knobs. The system offers advanced capabilities including synthetic vision technology with terrain and obstacle alerting, detailed moving map, advanced air traffic information and seamless integration with other Garmin avionics.
SportStar RTC G3X Touch model includes two 10.6” large G3X Touch Screen displays, dual Air Data and Attitude and Heading Reference System (ADAHRS), Engine Monitoring System, dual GPS and Synthetic Vision Technology. Garmin avionics package in SportStar RTC further includes NAV/COM Garmin GNC 255, Garmin GTX328 and optional GPS Aera 500.
The first SportStar RTC with Garmin G3X Touch glass cockpit, serial number 20182101, registration F-HPST, is going to be delivered to Aeroklub Montpelier in France this February, the same air club will receive its second ordered SportStar RTC G3X Touch in March. Evektor has currently another 10 aircraft with Garmin G3X Touch under production.
