Evektor handed over two new aircraft to customers from Germany and Chile at AERO Friedrichshafen
At Aero 2019 Evektor handed over two brand new manufactured aircraft to its owners from Germany and Chile. A ceremonial handover was attended by journalists from various countries and Aero visitors.
The first handed over aircraft was the new EuroStar SLW Sport 600 with registration mark “D-MKAR”. The SLW Sport 600 model is based on the proven EuroStar SLW model, with reinforced structure to 600 kg MTOW, tapered wings and stabilizer, 120 l integral wing tanks, useful load up 270 kg and meeting the new 600 kg MTOW rules in Germany. The aircraft was equipped with Rotax 912ULS (100 hp engine), Neuform constant speed propeller, Flymap EFIS, analogue engine instruments and ballistic recovery system. EuroStar SLW Sport 600 is currently under approval process by the German DAeC and is going to be among the first aircraft on the market approved in the new the new 600 kg UL regulation in Germany. The owner of the EuroStar SLW, D-MKAR, will be operated by a private pilot for touring and leisure flying.
Aero 2019 has become a big day also for a customer from Chile - the company Aerocenter, represented by CEO Hermann Flores. Aerocenter acquired Harmony LSA for its flight school in Santiago. The handed over aircraft, registration mark “CC-DAR”, was equipped with the latest Dynon SkyView HDX Glass Cockpit with Dual 10” Touch Screens, Dynon SkyView Autopilot, Night equipment package, Rotax 912iS Sport Fuel Injected engine and WarpDrive propeller. Aerocenter operates Evektor aircraft for PPL, Night and IFR training. Harmony LSA, exported by Evektor to the USA, Australia, Chile, Brazil and other countries with LSA rules, is the latest model from Evektor´s 600 kg MTOW LSA product line, based on its predecessor SportStar which became the very first FAA approved S-LSA aircraft in the world.
At Aero 2019 Evektor presented also EASA certified pilot training aircraft SportStar RTC which has received EASA certification for VFR Night operation this April. The aircraft is popular among the European air clubs and flight schools for PPL / LAPL training, solo time building and other training. The presented SportStar RTC, registration OK-NVF, was equipped with the latest Garmin G3X Glass Cockpit with Dual 10.6” Screes, NAV/COM Garmin GNC 255, Night equipment package and ballistic recovery system.
