Evektor delivers the rear fuselage section to L-39NG training combat aircraft program

Following to delivery of the nose fuselage section to L-39NG program in June 2018 Evektor-Aerotechnik delivered rear fuselage section with tail to L-39NG assembly line at Aero Vodochody. Quality inspection and acceptance of delivery was made by inspection team from Aero Vodochody at Evektor-Aerotechnik´s production facility in Kunovice on August 31st. The other three sets of the front and rear fuselage section are scheduled to be delivered by Evektor-Aerotechnik yet in 2018.

Roll-out of the first prototype of the new L-39NG is planned by Aero Vodochody for October, 2018.

At Farnborough Air Show in June / 2018 Aero Vodochody announced commercial agreements with two new customers for L-39NG – SkyTech from Portugal and RSW Aviation from USA. Including contract signed with Senegal the company has orders for delivery of the first 38 aircraft of L-39NG.

The L-39NG aircraft is a modern effective light combat aircraft and military jet trainer. The aircraft is a next generation of the legendary L-39 Albatros which is operated in air forces of more than 30 countries.  The L-39NG has a redesigned airframe with reduced weight and increased service life, is powered by the new Williams FJ44-4M engine and equipped with a modern integrated digital avionics.
